Notes

STATUS UNCERTAIN — VERIFY BEFORE ADVISING. Officially the 'Tourism and Leisure Facility Investment Immigration System': buy designated tourism/leisure property (Jeju, Incheon Free Economic Zone and other approved resort zones) to obtain F-2 residence, converting to F-5 after five years. The threshold was doubled from KRW 500M to KRW 1,000,000,000 (about US$750,000) in 2023 and the scheme's sunset was extended to 30 April 2026 — a date that has now passed, and renewal beyond it is not confirmed in our sources. It only ever covered approved resort developments, not ordinary housing. Confirm current status with the Korea Immigration Service / HiKorea before relying on it.
